Jesse Baxter is the Founder and Artistic Director of Dramatic Adventure Theatre. DAT's groundbreaking shows successfully marry the seemingly distant worlds of community service, education, and cross-cultural/experiential travel with innovative theatre.
Baxter has developed and produced 15 original works, acted and directed in countless projects, and explored 44 of the United States as well as Austria, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Czech, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador including the Galapagos, England, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Kenya, Navajo Nation, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Tanzania including Zanzibar, and Zimbabwe. Each adventure filled with human to human connection and entertaining anecdotes.
A passionate and charismatic speaker, Baxter drills into the question, "What does it mean to be a theatre artist in today's world?" He challenges his listeners to become ambassadors of hope and inspires each of us to make a positive impact with our art.
